Floyd's 5.9 million bet slip is a blatant FAKE

Anyone who is ****** enough to believe that slip is real needs to go find the highest building in town and jump off the roof. It will save you from a lifetime of being a gullible idiot.

I expect the casino to come out and deny taking that bet pretty soon because it makes them look like the biggest idiots in the industry to have their name attached to such a blatantly fake wager.

Also - as someone who has gambled on sports in Vegas for over 10 year I know for a fact that no casino sportsbook would ever take a single wager that large and if that much money came in on one side it would have swung the point spread drastically and that did not happen.

So if you think Floyd won 5.3 million dollars last night, well, good luck making it through life falling for every ridiculous lie you hear.

This says he BET $5.9mil but won only around $600k. Also spread over 9 books.

While the Mayweather team hasn’t confirmed or denied that he placed a $5.9 million bet on the Heat in Game 7, what we can confirm is the betting slip you see above is a fake.

Sunset Station confirmed they did not take a bet for that amount for the game. Furthermore, they confirmed what most gamblers know, that you can’t just walk into a casino with almost $6 million, make a bet and get a betting slip from a teller.

If Mayweather made that type of large bet, it would have been done privately over multiple casinos, not one as small as sunset station.

So, while Money maybe cashed out, we may never know exactly how much if anything he made off Game 7.

Making It Rain On Them Hoes: Floyd Mayweather Bet $5.9 Milli On Heat/Pacers Eastern Conference Finals Game

Money Team Mayweather is rumored to be $600K richer but he risked nearly $6 million to get it.

        Via NYDailyNews reports:

Floyd Mayweather is putting his money where his heart is.

The fighter is reportedly betting $5.9 million on Monday night’s Game 7 between the Pacers and the Heat, going with Miami, a seven-point favorite against Indiana.

“Money” Mayweather has no shortage of sirignanos these days — having just inked a six-fight, $200 million deal with Showtime — but a nearly $6M wager is pretty outrageous, even for an avid (and successful) bettor like Mayweather, who is known to root for the Heat even when he doesn’t have money on them.

“This is kind of ridiculous. C’mon Floyd,” Benjamin Lee Eckstein of AmericasLine.com, a nationally-syndicated odds column, said.

“I know that there have been people who walked into a casino and bet a million dollars, but not on basketball. It was always the Super Bowl,” said Eckstein, who added that Mayweather “only” stands to win about $600,000 on a bet that could cost him $5.9M.

According to Vegas ******** Steam, which reported the news of the big bet on Twitter (@Pregame_Steam), Mayweather had to spread his wagers across nine sportsbooks, a split that made sense to Eckstein.

“I don’t think that anybody’s taking a six million dollar bet at one shot,” He said. “You’d probably have to call (Vegas mogul) Steve Wynn personally for that.”

Mayweather has never been shy about flaunting his riches, and routinely shares his winning and losing tickets on Twitter.

Well good thing he won. It would be ****** to lose $6 million over a basketball game.

So, assuming he made the bet, how did he only win 600k? Can someone explain the mechanics of that?

Edit: I'm pretty sure the bossip guy was talking about betting the game straight and not the line.
