Khan-Alexander - A Fight Between Two Guys Who Moved Up Because They Couldn't Hack 140

Alexander is a guy who quit in his biggest fight and pretty clearly lost to both Matthyse and Kotelnik.

Khan isn't a quitter he just can't last more than 5 rounds against Garcia or Lucas so he bolted the division.

Neither one of these guys deserves a Mayweather shot any more than Welterweight Champion Paul Maliggnaggi.

The winner of Lucas-Garcia should get the Mayweather shot over these two overrated jokes.

Who cares if they never fought at 147 when Floyd is a small Welter anyway. I guarantee either guy,even moving up from 140, would outweight Floyd by just as much as Devon or Khan.

I see where you are coming from. Khan has a good chance against Alexander and no chance against Matthysse or Garcia also if he does lose against Alexander it won't be as heavy a loss as he would have had against Mattysse or Garcia.

Everything you say is true but Schaefer loves Khan and he will do anything to help Khan get a fight with Mayweather. It's obvious that Schaefer wants Khan to beat Alexander so he can try to talk Floyd into fighting Khan in 2014. I think Alexander will spoil Schaefer's plans by KOing Khan. Alexander seems to be fighting better at 147 so maybe he did have trouble making 140. The winner of Garcia-Matthysse would deserve a fight with Mayweather more than either Alexander or Khan.

Khan vs alexander will be similar to khan vs judah. Also alexander got his ass wooped by lucas but alexander still is a very good fighter but he dosent punch hard enough to bother khan and remember khans moving up to 147 aswell and he apparently has weight problems so we might see some more power from khan.

Nope. Alexander lost the Mattysse fight and the Kotelnik fight could have gone either way. He was a unified champ, who lost to the best 140lber at the time in Bradley.

Khan is just a china chinned fighter who's exciting to watch, ( I watch all his fights), but really won't beat any top class fighter. Alexander is an entire grade better than Khan. Anyone with just a tab bit of pop and the know how to land a solid punch has a chance of stopping Khan.
