What has Floyd beaten, 9-10 Mexicans in his career in titlefights? I do agree with Morales though, everyone thinks these opponents are gonna bullrush Floyd like madmen and it will be a free for all. Obviously that is easier said than done. Canelo is not even that type of fighter. Canelo has a shot at beating Floyd if he comes with the perfect fight plan and his A+ game. But he has to be able to hurt Floyd as well though I feel. It just depends, I have seen Canelo look hot and cold, depending on the fight. I think he will fight his best come Sept. 14 though but can he keep it up for 3 mins every round for 12 rounds? Will he hesitate because of what is coming back at him? Thing is Floyd must hit harder than people think or if not, then what stopped Cotto, Shane or Guerrero from just walking him down and pulverizing him with shots? Speed and precision is power and I doubt he can really hurt Canelo but do not be shocked if he gets Canelo's respect and he doesn't just walk in on Floyd.
without a doubt lol. you don't get 26ko's without having some decent power. otherwise, like you said, people would just walk through his punches and swarm him

A chess match? Canelo has nowhere near the boxing I.Q. that Mayweather has. Canelo is no smarter in the ring than Guerrero. Canelo's advantage is size and power. He has a puncher's chance.

It's not going to be 50/50 based off of skill. Canelo will enter the ring 30#s heavier than Mayweather... I think size wise Canelo-Ward is a more even fight!

Canelo walks around as a Cruiser whereas Floyd walks inside of the 154 limit. I agree that his size is his BEST chance at winning. He doesn't possess half of the skill as Floyd does.

Morales is correct, this is going to be a boring as fight considering both guys don't like to throw a lot of punches

I hate when people say stuff like this. Who the hell wants to see a bunch of punches being thrown that hit air, gloves, shoulders, and elbows? What I love about floyd and Canelo is they are both ACCURATE punchers. They don't just throw a bunch of punches just for the sake of throwing a bunch of punches.

As much as I hate floyd I must admit it is a beautiful thing to watch him land such a high percentage of flush solid punches.

For those of you who don't understand boxing, this IS going to be a chess match. Canelo simply isn't the kind of fighter that just bumrushes guys and swarms them with flurries of punches hoping to catch his opponent with a lucky punch.

Canelo's smart with his movements and punches. Floyd should and most likely win the chess match, but the problem is Canelo doesn't need to land a bunch punches due to his power. It only took ONE straight right to drop austin trout for the first time in his career. Pretty boy is in trouble this time baby. He was in trouble against Ortiz, but he got lucky and found an easy way out. You can only get lucky so many times.

Guerrero was a much more credible fight than Margarito. Pathetic post.

LOLs... who said anything about throwing punches just for the sake of throwing punches?

besides, with someone who runs as much as cherrypicker, you gotta punch him where ever you can, whether it be shoulders, arms or elbows, cause he's great when he's on his bike.

As much as I hate floyd I must admit it is a beautiful thing to watch him land such a high percentage of flush solid punches.
yep, me too, I just wish he threw more flush solid punches and tried to stop his opponents rather than just potshot and collect a check after the fight. If you totally outclass your opponents, don't even let them finish 12 rounds.

For those of you who don't understand boxing, this IS going to be a chess match.
LOLs... we understnad boxing.... chess match = boring.

Canelo simply isn't the kind of fighter that just bumrushes guys and swarms them with flurries of punches hoping to catch his opponent with a lucky punch. Canelo's smart with his movements and punches.
we know, cause his stamina is garbage

Floyd should and most likely win the chess match,
its a foregone conclusion already, but cherrypicker still has to get in the ring and do it, which he will.

but the problem is Canelo doesn't need to land a bunch punches due to his power. It only took ONE straight right to drop austin trout for the first time in his career.
difference is trout wasn't running, he was trying to engage and got caught. Cherrypicker will run and he won't get caught.

Pretty boy is in trouble this time baby.
not even remotely... this will be an easy as fight now that cherrypicker is using his legs. The ginger has no hope.

He was in trouble against Ortiz, but he got lucky and found an easy way out.
at no point in the fight was cherrypicker in trouble against Ortiz. Ortiz was getting dominated that why Ortiz got frustrated and tried to headbutt him.

You can only get lucky so many times.
LOLs... cherrypicker is great at minimizing risk, so it's not about luck. If the ginger can land a clean flush shot on cherrypicker, that would be called luck.
