Darley Perez of Colombia (28-0, 19 KO) will look to counter Yuriorkis Gamboa (22-0, 16 KO) on Saturday night as part of the HBO televised undercard at the Bell Centre in Quebec, Canada. Chad Dawson defending his WBC light heavyweight title against Adonis Stevenson is the headliner of the night.

Perez has seen Gamboa hurt, and dropped, in several fights from counter punches. [Click Here To Read More]

Gamboa's chin has been clocked by Salido's right hand and more so by some hay maykers that Farenas guy landed all night on his chin, he may fall because of what i call reckless legs syndrome but never been on bambi legs he is like the hulk that only makes him angry so if you think a knockdown is your way to go gonna need plan B you might just piss him off.

I hope Gamboa has a great showing. He's kind of been forgotten about and a lights out performance will put his name back in the mix for the big fights.

I saw him va Meza and Mamadjonov, and was underwhelmed both times. But then it turns out Baha is good, and Perez managed much better than Santana. He's a lot bigger than Gamboa, punches hard enough, and was a world level amateur:

OTOH bigcursedawg said he looked like **** and got dropped once or twice vs some scrub since.

I just wonder how Gamboa's chin will hold up without the PED and with no power of his own to back it up, cheating ass punk!

Perez got dropped by a guy who was 8-8-1 three times. Gamboa is going to wreck this Perez, all Perez has is size

I have seen Perez once, but I can't remember who he was fighting. I just remembered he looked pretty good. I'm fine with this fight for Gamboa, just glad to see him back in the ring.
