not 100% sure, but I heard he got knocked out in sparring by Errol Spence.

Isn't he fighting at the upcoming European Championships? He's going to turn pro, probably with Matchroom Sports, in 2014.

Probably went back to selling weed after he realised he shouldn't have advanced from the opening match of the Olympics...... Seriously something NEEDS to be done about the corruption in the sport, bad enough it's at professional level and now it spreads to the amateurs.... and to the Olympics! SMH!!! There's a speech in the opening ceremony where they take an oath on behalf of all officiating personal to be fair and honest when doing their jobs... looks like there was an exception clause for when Anthony Joshua fights.

Nah he hasn't signed on with GB amatuer boxing, Joe Joyce is the Super Heavyweight of GB. Was a shame, I was really looking forward to a potential fight between him and the reigning Heavyweight Olympic gold medalist - Oleksandr Usyk.

Britain's Olympic super-heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has not been selected for the European Amateur Boxing Championships in Belarus.

Joshua, who won gold at London 2012, has yet to sign a new contract with GB Boxing as he considers turning pro.

A bunion problem also meant the 23-year-old could not be selected for the first major tournament since the Olympics, which begins on 1 June.
