The business in boxing is sinking fast -- no big sponsors in the sport...
    HBO and Show are divided...
PPV numbers down (due to the Net)...
It's not about Alvarez or Floyd -- it's about business...

Boxing still outperforms MMA and the WWE biggest events so I don't see how it's sinking they have been singing that song since 07.

A victory over Mayweather would be incredible, of course.

He would have topped the best boxer in the sport today and one of the best of this generation to lace up a pair of gloves.

He would add onto his already substantial stardom, increasing his stature in the United States and transforming from celebrity to legend in his native Mexico.

He would earn millions of dollars more for a presumptive immediate rematch.

That is why Alvarez has signed for a Sept. 14 fight against Mayweather, sharing a main event with a man who by far will be the toughest challenge yet for a titleholder who is just 22 years old, soon to be 23. Alvarez has fought 43 times, which is one less pro bout than the 36-year-old Mayweather, and he has become an attraction on both sides of the border.

It is this fight, though, that could mean everything to Alvarez’s career, that could do all of the above should he come out triumphant. [Click Here To Read More]

Mr. M4RK, what you've just posted is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever read. At no point in your rambling, incoherent post were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

              172 is smaller than 151?

The only way Canelo loses is if Mayweather completely embarrasses him, which could possibly happen.

I can only LOL at all of the Canelo by KO.
There's a better chance of Malignaggi scoring a knockout in a fight, than Floyd being knocked down, never mind out?
And with Floyd senior as his trainer.. I can only LOL one more time.

Conclusion: LOL no knockout for Canelo.

Canelo stood his ground. No signing on Sept, no undercard participation. He didn't flinch. He and his team knew the road to the big fight will eventually point in his direction. The catchweight indicates concern.
