win or lose Canelo is ok. he will get increased exsposure-especially on the east coast. He will still be a top 5 draw, will still be the #2 guy on showtime after floyd, and if he loses will surely get his a belt or 2 back in a ppv with cotto after the organizations strip floyd or floyd gives up the 154lb titles.

He'll be fine. He's young, he has an excuse, and there's no one else as good as Mayweather in his division or the next. Mayweather doesn't destroy careers, at least not that I can think of off the top of my head.

he doesnt destroy careers but he does steal confidence. and u can say he'll be fine. but not everyone is mentally the same. i think canelo truly believes hes one of the best fighters in the world. finding out differently may hurt him. he wouldnt be the first and he wont be the last.

I'm kinda hoping that Cherrypicker destroys the ginger Gatti style so that the ginger's hype is completely deflated, but that's asking too much from Cherrypicker, I know Cherrypicker will potshot and run only

I wish Cherrypicker was like Hopkins... after you fight Hopkins you're never the same

btw im not saying it will be the case, but it can be the case. most ppl dont expect him to beat floyd. but i think he expects to win. ii just think its the one thing he stands to lose that everyone glosses over. a huge part of being a great athlete is confidence. thats why these young fighters beat these no hopers for years before stepping up. it'll be interesting to see what happens.

Alvarez might be who it's fixed for. Who knows anymore? Win three rounds, get 6 or 7, and we have a rematch.

Seriously, this is boxing, anyone CAN get robbed.

This time last week people swore Canelo would kill Floyd. Since the fight has been signed those sentiments has changed. I honestly can see this fight being like the first B-Hop vs Jermaine Taylor the similarites are there.

Maybe. I think he'll be okay unless he gets stopped, which is incredibly unlikely.

If Alvarez does get ruined by losing a one-sided decision, I think it would suggest he is mentally weak, and someone else would have exposed that eventually.

That's my point it's no way in hell this fight is fixed for Floyd. Hell they gave Guerrero 3rds win it's no way in hell he won 2.
