Danny is scared of Matthysse period. There's way too much evidence that points to it. The majority will hold that train of thought until the fight is confirmed for September 7th, which has been mentioned in about 5 or so articles by Schaefer already, yet nothing confirmed yet. There is no proof that Garcia is afraid to fight Lucas. We all know Lucas wants to fight Garcia. He gave up a chance to take Peterson's title just to stay in line to fight Garcia and fighting Garcia is all he talks about. If Garcia's next fight is with Lucas that would prove he is not afraid of Lucas. If Garcia fights anybody else next instead of Lucas that would tell me he is afraid to fight Lucas. Right now I think he will fight Lucas next. If he fights somebody else next instead of Lucas then I don't think he ever will fight him.

Danny and Lucas WILL fight eachother. You think everyone is in on this, except Al? Everyone involved has been talking about the plan to match them up, for the past 2 yrs. The plan is for the winner to go up to 47, and potentially fight Floyd, another Al Haymon fighter. Al is not going to keep the two top fighters in the weight class from fighting eachother, when the fight makes THIS much sense. He was actually saving Berto for Floyd, but Ortiz beat him.

I can't think of many examples of a boxer admitting he is scared of another boxer, but would that be proof if he did? What if he was joking? What if he was lying? Do we need to have him say it on a lie detector?

I do know that anyone anywhere near that weight class who ISN'T scared of Matthyse is probably nuts. Doesn't mean he can't be beat, but, gee, have you ever seen how hard he hits?

Easy ill give you an example quillen is scared of ggg the way he said oh it's too dangerous of a fight for the the reward or wtv exact words he said it.....that man is scared of another fighter.....

What y'all saying is proof of Danny being scared is just the man talking from a business standpoint wich this is a business...... He might respect him or know he's a hard hitting dude but I'm sure he's been hit by someone just as hard he's got what close to 30 fights and u gon tell me this dude is scared ???????? He's a professional fighter he has a manager who makes the deals shake just cuz he says a fighters name don't mean it's automatically get done . Every dam fighter calls out Floyd every weekend after a fight they know they can't beat him but since they just say his name and Floyd don't make the fight the next day or acknowledge them he's scared right?

The dudes not scared nor has he shown a drop that he's scared the video of after the Lucas fight was just him looking at the fight and saying he's number 1 how da hell do you get he's scared from that. Please explain.
