That sucks, I was really looking forward to the fight being on the undercard.

Well, i'm still looking forward to Matthysse-Garcia and Mayweather-Canelo. It was too good to be true from the start.

Has Matthysse-Garcia been officially signed yet?

The more I hear about the Canelo/Floyd fight, the more I'm uninterested. Everyone is working out angles and leaving the fans to be the one looking like idiots.

Look how much Canelo has grown in his last five fights. I wondered why GBP is serving him on a platter when if they allow him to grow some more with a few more fights he could actually compete. But then it all made sense: they don't care if he wins.

If Canelo loses, they can say he was still green. Better to lose when your not at your peak than to lose at your best. Then people can say he's good but he got beat by that one guy. That gives them an excuse later so when ppl look back they will say he wasnt ready and dismiss the loss. Also it's a huge PPV event so they can capitalize on it like showing Oscars nephew and bs like this.

It also works out for Floyd cuz he can say he easily beat Canelo now. When Canelo gets better in a few fights, Floyd wont have to take the risk of fighting him and losing cuz he won't have to fight him or rematch him cuz he can say he already beat him. He can also say that this shows he's not ducking the best in prime like ppl say, even though in reality it's before Canelos prime.

I hear what you're saying and I can't say I don't see some validity in you words, but only problem I have with you statements is why do people keep talking about primes and giving guys outs if they lose to Mayweather? I mean we all can agree with ourselves if we're honest that Mayweather is well past prime. If you want to see a prime Mayweather watch the gatti fight or any fight before that. That's prime. It's not his fought he just so good most people can't notice he on the downside of this career.

I never said Floyd was in his prime. I agree with you, he's not. What I said was people criticize Floyd for not fighting fighters in their prime, in which he is trying to use Canelo as a way to shut the critics up.
