Yes, Alexander is completely different from Julio Diaz and he's also completely different than any "boxer" that Amir has faced.
It's like saying Khan went life and death with Maidana but Devon tactically picked Marcos apart and won every round except one on 3 freaking scorecards.
Khan struggles with fighters that can hit him with clean, accurate, and hard punches and not necessarily "pressure fighters". I wouldn't group Prescott, Maidana, Peterson, Garcia, and Julio Diaz as all pressure fighters. Amir is successful with guys with little power that are labeled as "boxers": Kotelnik, Salita, Malignaggi, and McCloskey.
You can only judge a fighter by his last few fights and the smart money is on Devon right now.
Maidana, Peterson, Diaz were pressure fighters. Garcia and Prescott were punchers who took him out basically with one shot.
Alexander is neither. Khan does what Alexander does but better. I take more from their styles than their last few fights
