That fight was a long time ago. Canelo is way stronger now, and I always felt his power was overrated until recently.

Broner moving up two weight classes isn't a big deal. This is a guy that used to drain himself to make 130 and probably 135, and will most likely be entering the ring on the night at around 155lbs, which is around the same as Malignaggi will probably weigh.

Moving up a weight class or two and beating one of the best in the division - that's something worth crediting. I'm really not convinced that Malignaggi is even among the ten best boxers in the welterweight division.

That was his best performance and he lost and it took a lot from him , his best wins on paper came after that but he lost something they dont get back that night .

Fighting a guy at 154 after already doing it twice shouldn't be a big deal either.

This. I see Paulie pumping the jab like Trout did against Canelo, an active but ultimately ineffective jab. Paulie is heavily reliant on his jab, his right hand is a non-factor. People seem to be forgetting that Paulie arguably lost his last fight and got KD by Cano who's a C-level fighter imho. Broner is clearly more talented than Cano is, and I would be shocked if Paulie wins.
