Former two division champion Juan Manuel Lopez appeared on his way to the super featherweight division after suffering a second knockout loss to Orlando Salido last year. He fought two fights earlier this year at 128 pounds, leaving the door open for a possible return to the featherweight division.
A fight against newly crowned WBO featherweight champion Mikey Garcia was deemed
too lucrative to pass up so on June 15 the two fighters will square off in Dallas, TX with Garcia's title at stake. On a recent edition of BoxingScene Radio, Lopez told us that there is only one other fight that would entice him to stay at 126 pounds.
