  • Comments Thread For: Haye: If Vitali Fight Happens, Probably Not Until 2014

Former two division champion David Haye (26-0, 24KOs) says a showdown with WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko, should it happen, likely won't come about until 2014. Vitali has a mandatory fight to take care of, against Bermane Stiverne who recently won a final eliminatory. Vitali is likely not going to fight twice in 2013.

Haye, who withdrew from a planned June fight with a hand injury, is now being linked to a fall fight with domestic rival Tyson Fury.

It would be surprising if Vitali continues his career into 2014. Age and lack of interest in a weak division. He has nothing to prove against Haye, and the match up could hardly be considered a mega-fight.

Which fight in the HW division would be a bigger fight than Haye-Vitali?

So, David is going to fight once this year. Typical.

What happened to Haye's four-fight plan?

His withdrawal from the Charr fight was due to poor ticket sales, not some dubious hand injury.

                  This guy is a phoney.

Haye shut the f up !!! Retire, you are not a fighter ! Wladamir made you pee in your pants when you fought him, you were so scared. You fought like a girl, time for you to put your makeup on and a nice dress.
