Nah at this point Floyd seems to be taking risky fights. He's going to fight Canelo if he wins that then probably Matthysse then who knows? But if Floyd can leap this hurdle it will be hard to hate on him after.

Too much money to be made. After this fight Mayweather-Khan in England could be a huge financial success. I rather Floyd fight the winner of Danny Lucas fight but Khan can make good money.

Incorrect, the reason for the rule change was to reduce cancellations - with the current rule if a fighter doesn't make weight he can simply return an hour or so later. The rule change has nothing to do with protecting fighters. The current rules are very dangerous for a boxer e.g. Gerald McClellan or Ricky Hatton. With same day weighs fighters would be more likely forced to just move up to a natural weight if they can't make weight.

The boxing world would be pretty dull without Floyd. Broners got the mouth but we dont know if hes got the game yet. Marquez has one foot out the door. Matthysse is hot right now but will be exposed as soon as he moves up a division. Not enough contenders to challenge Rigo. Its going to suck for about 5 to 6 yrs because I dont see that next big star.

the reason why Cherrypicker isn't appreciated is because he cherrypicks fights. he waits for his rivals to get old or past their primes before he fights them.

if all Cherrypicker is gonna do is fight guys like Alexander and Khan, he might as well retire.
