Do you have any proof that same day weigh ins cause more death and injury?

Nah at this point Floyd seems to be taking risky fights. He's going to fight Canelo if he wins that then probably Matthysse then who knows? But if Floyd can leap this hurdle it will be hard to hate on him after.

Yes you do. Its obvious you don't have any and its just something you heard. Do you know the actual reason for the change in weigh ins?

Too much money to be made. After this fight Mayweather-Khan in England could be a huge financial success. I rather Floyd fight the winner of Danny Lucas fight but Khan can make good money.

Its to stop fighters going into fights dehydrated as there is less fluid protecting the brain in that circumstance and that greatly increases the chance of brain injuries such as subdural haematoma's etc. Its a while ago now, buts thats broadly it.

so he cant be beaten so now he should retire ??

man this Floyd Mayweather **** has been a crazy ride.

I have never seen anything like this in my 45 years on earth.

Men obsessed with a man losing.

Its sickening because the dude is a great so it makes you wonder WTF is wrong with people. Why would you want a sports top star to retire. (If you truly love the sport)
                This **** is ill!!

Incorrect, the reason for the rule change was to reduce cancellations - with the current rule if a fighter doesn't make weight he can simply return an hour or so later. The rule change has nothing to do with protecting fighters. The current rules are very dangerous for a boxer e.g. Gerald McClellan or Ricky Hatton. With same day weighs fighters would be more likely forced to just move up to a natural weight if they can't make weight.

Its going to suck for about 5 to 6 yrs because I dont see that next big star.

sometimes i wonder would it would feel like to be a floyd fan, but its too hard for me to even watch his fights. Ive notice that all the floyd fans are a bunch of lazy bums who think that what mayweather is doin good by making canelo drop 2 lbs from 154 for THAT 154 title he fought odh & cotto but not alvarez. How can you even defend that? only b!tches and hypocrites will be like" but floyd too small doe"...........ANd hell naw, ill be happy when that cherrypicker food stamp retires finally we get to see good fights in cinco de mayo.........

the reason why Cherrypicker isn't appreciated is because he cherrypicks fights. he waits for his rivals to get old or past their primes before he fights them.

if all Cherrypicker is gonna do is fight guys like Alexander and Khan, he might as well retire.

the ginger has no chance but at least he's got one advantage over Cherrypicker and that is his size.
