It has to be Carl Froch. Avenging his first loss on his home turf, solidifying his ticket to the hall of fame. Can it get any better?

I'll give it to Mares, slightly edging out LM. He showed his entire skill-set against PDL in his first fight @126 and also got the stoppage.

To Me it was between Matthysse and Mares both had great wins but i was more surprised how Matthysse man handled Peterson so quick then how Mares dismantled the one dimensional Ponce. The nod goes to Matthysse for the shock factor.

I could buy Froch as boxer of the month, but to suggest that a close win over a shop worn fighter who already beat you doesn't make him a guaranteed HOFer.

Anyway, I voted for Matthysse, since he proved he was the real deal when many doubted he could handle Peterson, let alone dominate him in that fashion.

Hell yeah Lucas is running away with this poll!

I actually thought for a moment between Lucas and Mares. I was extremely impressed by Mares. Matthysse blowing away PEDerson like he did just can't be denied though. That was a 50-50 fight going in and looked like a horrendous mismatch.

I'd say it is between Matthysse, Jones, and Froch (I didn't see the Mares fight). Jones and Froch both did very well, but Matthysse just walked through Peterson like he was a cardboard cutout.
