Sometimes your favorite fighters are not the most decorated ones with big records but something makes you pull for them. That's Derrick Wilson for me. He is slick, fast, and with excellent skills but has suffered from being brought in as the opponent with half the training time and still bumped off a couple prospects. Good to see him get the proper training this time. He is the perfect example of a fighter who is better than their record. I hope he keeps winning.

I wouldn't say he got owned. It was a close hard fought fight. Santos hurt Wilson with a body shot in the first and wasted to much energy trying to get Wilson out of there in the first couple rounds. Both fighter gave good accounts of themselves but Santos was definitely the much dirtier fighter. It was a good win for Wilson he deserves it.
