Is there any other camp that degrades their opposition before the fight

and then cry after the fight that they get no credit or respect from the boxing community? We see the Mayweathers do this time and time again. "He ain't ****, he can't do this, he can't do that. Hes C level".

What other fighters and trainers do this?

Almost every camp degrades opposition. Ali called foreman and liston big bums, Lewis said Klitschko was easy and can't punch, Team Pac said Marquez is done and can't win with god in the ring, that Delahoya was finished, Mayweather said they didnt know who Guerrero was, Ortiz said Mayweather and Guerrero aren't anything

          It's called promotion...

Anyway Floyd is not going to get any credit unless he someone invents a time machine bring back all the legends and he beat all of them because his the standard he is held to, is too high to appease to anybody today viewpoint of him.

Probably all top fighters, De la Hoya, Pac, Cotto etc have done so in the past.. That's what happens when you are a top fighter.

Most top fighters do not get their credit until they are gone.

Floyd isn't be held to a standard he's being judged about everything he does with no chance of ever redeeming himself in the eyes of some. So the first post is utterly ridiculous and moronic. Ridicule is common in the sport of boxing and, no Floyd mayweather didn't invent it or is the only one that engages in it. Jeez Louise.......

Many, many other camps do this to a much worse level. Not the least of which is Floyd's No.1 fanboy/stalker Broner.

He has occasionally crossed the line. But at the same time, you didn't hear him talk **** against Cotto or Marquez because he genuinely respected them. Ortiz and Guerrero were nice fighters who were really not at all ready for that level. As abrasive as it may have sounded, I can understand that the camp recognizes what it takes at that level, and those guys didn't have it.

I do see and agree with your main point though, martial artists should be respectful of their opposition, but it is also the case that the respect must be earned, not given.
