It's a shame he turned pro so late. It's scary to imagine what he could have achieved if he wasn't Cuban and therefore tied to the amateur ranks.

      Tremendous fighter.

Shame he is being avoided by the whole 122 division.

Would love for Santa Cruz to polish up a bit and man up vs Rigo.

The guy is a phenom . I worked that out after watching him for 30 seconds. I was amazed other people could not see it as it was plainly obvious.I guess it took him beating Donaire to wake people up.

I wish I could've sparred Rigo, 2 rounds would do. Even if he made me look dumb as hell.

They were talking September and I have this theory in my head.

Lets say Santa Cruz beats Terrazas then that means Vic won't be able to fight Santa Cruz (GB vs TR) unless a purse bid is ordered which I don't expect. That could mean a beltless Vic and Terrazas might actually be willing to fight Rigo for his.

He hadn't gotten hit much before Donaire, but did get shaken up a couple of times. Here he was fighting the best combo of size, speed and power below feather, no way he wouldn't take punches over 12 rounds. Turns out he didn't get hit much, less than I expected, but did take some good ones on the chin with no problems. No going in the shell, came back with better punches each time. So looks like the chin concern was overblown, and he's probably unbeatable at 122 anytime soon. Santa Cruz can't handle movers, isn't even a 1 punch threat. Some of the FWs are much bigger though.
