    He was great as a super flyweight and bantamweight. Ok above that. He was very entertaining too.

        he wa pretty good for all his troubles and distraction. its on him that he wasnt even better. he had it in him but his demons beat him in the end and he still had quite a career.

                Johnny Tapia was an excellent fighter. One of my favs as I was growing up. First noticed him when he busted up another one that I like Danny Romero. The guy was truely a dog when the bell rang, he would be obiediant to the rules but his heart was rage.............. Rockin'
