Comments Thread For: Barrera Gives His Take on Mayweather vs. Canelo

Mexican legend Marco Antonio Barrera gave his take on the recently finalzed fight between Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (42-0-1, 30KOs) and Floyd Mayweather Jr. (44-0, 26KOs), which takes place on September 14th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Barrera says Canelo's tender age of 22-years, and the accuracy of his punches, will play key roles in the outcome of the fight.

What do you expect their ALL MEXICANS!!!!!! Floyd is gonna take Canelo to school. It's crazy how people like to focus on what THEY THINK Floyd is up against but they always forget what Canelo will be up against:

A fighter that ALWAYS comes prepared
    Never takes an opponent lightly
ALWAYS on top if his A Game
Immediately makes fighters that usually fight one way readjust their whole fight plan, etc. Another big win for Money May!!!!!

Stamina is not going to be an issue for Canelo because his punch output will drop more than usual. He's never going to get a chance to tee off on Floyd because he doesn't have the total package to bully the champ. Floyd will skate circles around him. And when Floyd gets the feel for Canelo, he's going to discourage the young Mexican with short, sharp counter rights.

Canelo always has a puncher's chance but if couldn't take out Trout, he's ain't doing it to Floyd. He's simply going to get his face busted for the huge payday.

Canelo couldn't put enough pressure on Mosley to KO him, no way he puts up any pressure on Floyd. Floyd is gonna box Canelos ears off. There is no fighter who Canelo physically manhandled or KO with his size. His size won't be a factor. His lack if boxing skill at this point of his career will.

What fight has Canelo KO someone with one punch or was so much physically stronger than his opponent to give u the impression he can KO arguably the greatest defensive fighter of this era? Your talking nonesense. He couldn't even KO a way smaller Matt Hatton or an old Mosley for crying out loud.

              Barrera your so dumb

Barrera said Canelo will win because he will rehydrate better, and is inexperience, ****** dumb idiot. Mayweather will take Canelo to school plain and simple. Mayweather is the best in the world. Barrera you have early signs of brain damage.

He's getting Canelo young, at the top of his game, no losses, and with the title belts on the line, for another huge payday. Can't ask for much more.

Floyd wins even before the fight begins because Canelo dehydrates himself to death to meet the weight.
