But at the end of the day, do I think Mayweather should fight a 172 lber on fight night? Hell no. That should would be...******ed, right? So I understand why Mayweather did it, despite being a hypocrite. They both budged on weight. And now we got the fight. Rather than being excited about the fight, I feel like people are more upset about...talks. "He said this at one point, and now he's saying that." **** that everyone is guilty of. At the end of the day, I am happy with Pacquiao vs Rios and Mayweather vs Alvarez. And no, I don't believe that Brandon Rios is going to be affected by draining blood nor will Canelo be affected by 2 lbs, despite what the so called "boxing know it all" may believe about "2 lbs makes a lot of difference because of this and that" No. Stop. Everyone is different and it affects everyone differently. It's so random that it really doesn't matter.
For the billionth time .... Manny agreed to extra testing from DAY 1 and later agreed to exactly what Floyd wanted even when he took away the cutoff dates.

Secondly, Canelo already has stamina issues. So the better move would have been to get Canelo not to come in at 172 not by telling him to go down to 152. Floyd could have agreed to a max dehydration of 168 or something around there. Making weight can drain you ... not rehydrating to over 20lbs is OK and actually would be recommended due to Canelo's issues.

Floyd said that 2lbs did drain Cotto. So what about the stamina prone Canelo?

No, if Canelo beats Floyd, it will be the equivalent of Delahoya beating Pernell Whitaker or something like that.

It will be just the beginning of his career. It will look good at first, but years later it will just be one of many big wins, with the Floyd victory being perceived as beating a great fighter on his way out.

No, this is about Floyd. If he wants the credit (as you say) then he should stop putting himself in these situation where there is a asterisk attached to every big win.

I still don't see how Manny first refusing the blood tests and then taking them now makes him a hypocrite. I think people need to review the definition of the word hypocrisy.

Look at what Floyd fans say just to protect their fighter

I'm just saying. How does gossips and talks outweigh the fight actually happening? I mean, the biggest fight is happening and people want to talk about ****** **** people said. That's kind of like...trying to make yourself upset? It's like a parent buys you your first car and your disappointed that it got 25,000 miles rather than 20,000 miles.

I didn't say the 2 lbs won't affect Canelo. I said everyone is different and it affects them differently. Maybe it will affect Canelo. But 152 will also affect Mayweather as well. It's not like Mayweather doesn't struggle at the weight class. He came in at 151 his last fight at JMW. Canelo came in at 153 his last fight against Trout. Which is why they decided on that perfect 152 middle point. That's fair, right?

                  i didnt want the fight

as a floyd and canelo hater. its like two teams you hate making it to the super bowl or whatever sport to fit the reference

i never for a second thought that the fight wouldnt happen. floyd know an easy payday when he sees one and canelo believes his own hype; plus its a huge payday

its the type of fight floyd looks for and not just him any professional boxer looks for

an easy fight against a guy with a large fan base (canelo, hatton, Marquez)

martinez is the only guy that would beat him not canelo or Marquez left overs aka pacquaio. interesting that floyd was willing to fight canelo at a catchweight but not sergio martinez even though he has been asking for the fight for a couple of years?

Risk vs Reward. Martinez vs floyd=high risk and reward probably slightly better than what he usually does. Reason why floyd hasnt taken the fight

Risk vs Reward. floyd vs canelo=very low risk and very high reward. if anybody didnt think floyd wasnt gonna take this fight than you have an inflated perception of just how good canelo is
