How big are the penalties? I'm sure Canelo/GBP won't have a problem forking over a few thousand dollars.

Personally, I think Canelo does his best to get to 152 simply because he is a product of modern business. GBP have groomed from when he was a teenager for a night like this. They will make sure he makes weight, I guarantee it.

yeah mofos need to post this

yeah but I dunno about forking over a few hundred thousand dollars, especially if it's over 500k

Personally, I think Canelo does his best to get to 152
yeah, that's what he will do cause he last weighed in at 153 so he'll think 1 more lbs is nothing... also the ginger is the white knight in the narrative so he can't really not make weight or else it will tarnish his image, although it would be fair play cause cherrypicker cheated JMM at the scales

GBP didn't groom the ginger until recently. the Ginger already had his own team and what not grooming him.

They will make sure he makes weight, I guarantee it.
nah, they will tell the ginger to try to make it, but if its too hard to quit and just maintain. that's what they told Broner.

Are fight contracts available for public to see or are they usually kept confidential?

          Not necessarily.

As for the thread question, he'll get fined.

Then again maybe he would complain. It wouldn't be the first time he's made himself look foolish.
He already did, but you guys just ignored the cheating and flaws of Canelo, he will be taken to school, boxing 101...

why are people complaining about the weight , canelo is 22 and will be 23 by fight night. he is a young man and weight will not effect his performance , it's not as if he's an aged fighter at the back end of his career , that's when it would really matter.

Also does that mean floyd also has to come in at 152lbs or can he get away with being below that weight?

Big Dun is correct. Plus, 152 is that agreed maximum either fighter can weigh in at. Which means either man can weigh in at anything below and up to that.

Don't be so sure the last couple pounds are the hardest to lose. He might not even be able to make it

Well you said Cotto and Margo wasnt drained , so explain how a bigger fighter like Canelo can be drained losing less weight than they did , how does that work Doctor Davis lol
