    If Rigo beats Mares.

If Rigo fights and beats Mares, where would you rank him in the Top 10 P4P? Think about it;Wins over not one, but TWO top 10 P4P fighters in Donaire and Mares.

screw the p4p rankings, only the top spot counts
Rigo wouldn't get that for a Mares win
but FWIW, he'd surely get a spot somewhere
those 2 wins would make him the best guy at the lower weights right now
and if they fought, he definitely would beat Mares
can't see Mares solving his ring generalship and speed

If Rigo beats Mares, would it still be too early to call him an ATG, even with wins over him and Donaire?

Hey now... slow down with the ATG talk lol.

With the late start Mares is the type of fight Rigo needs to secure his legacy and make him a top P4P fighter.

Top 3 ahead of Marquez. Floyd, Ward, Rig and that's not in any particular order.

Do you guys think Rigo lost his best years to the ams?

at the very least in the top 4, if Marquez doesn't dominate Bradley then i'd put him in there at #3 over JMM. I really hope some strings can be pulled to make this fight! Rigo should try to get out of his TR contract.

I'd put Guille in the top five, P4P.

I don't know if he lost his best years, but he definitely lost some good and developmental years. Think about it. Rigo turned pro when he was 28. He is now 32. Guille would've been dominating his weight-class for at least four years now. It's a damn shame. "El Chacal" has been one of the best fighters in the world, pro or am, for years. Only now is the sport finally acknowledging his utmost quality. Better late than never, I suppose.
