  • Why Is Mayweather Always Giving FightHype Exclusive Interviews?

He keeps saying Fighthype gives him his "fair chance".

    What's "fair chance"???

What did they do that was so special?

He says it himself, plain and simple, he feels treated more fairly by them. We can argue the rightness or wrongness of such exclusivity but what we can't argue about is how this guy gets treated in the press.

Bias is a two way street it can either benefit you or drag you over the hot coals for whatever reason.....

      Same reason he loves Ellerbe.

If a bullet was heading in Floyd's direction I don't know who would jump in front of it first, Ellerbe or Ben Thompson. They're basically his servants.

Because Ben Thompson kisses his azz and agrees with everything he says and does.. Just another one of Floyd's yes men... I'm a huge Floyd fan but Floyd has done a lot of crap I can't stand and honestly Floyd only cares about himself and $$$.. I don't buy his bs about doing things for his fans. Love the man in the ring but he is a piece of crap in everything else he does other then take care of all his yes men

They give him the whole story not a rewritten fabrication taken out of context from other storys that then appears in places like here , you watch a video interview with Floyd , and within 4 hrs you got 10 different articles all built around out of context snippets from that one interview , thats what he means by a fair deal .

What you've done here is simplify a human being and rendered a moral judgement, not on a god, but on a guy who's just a human being in the end. I do the same thing because I think women abusers are sick individuals that need help. What we see of Floyd isn't really substantive because he controls a lot of his image and the media offer an interpretation based on that. There's always more to a story than what's reported or discussed ad nauseam on boxing forums.

People are free to think Mayweather is the scum of the earth, yep, please feel free to hate condemn and judge. But as fans, what are we interested in? Are we interested in Mayweather's skills and abilities or what he does behind closed doors? Personally I think he was raised in a vile environment and had sketchy role models, not an excuse but I'm sure it contributed to how he relates to the people in his life. Imho, a man that lays his hands on a woman is worthy of contempt, but that contempt shouldn't metastasize into the sport of boxing itself.

If we fans could better separate appreciation for the sport from personal feelings these forums would purr like a kitten.
