What other fights has the champion defended his title at a catchweight?

Specifically a champion that's defending his title at a weight LOWER than his actual belt states he's champion in?

On a side note: I am fine with the CW if Canelo says he can do it, then he can.

Of course he'll say he can do it, he's receiving the highest payday of his career. Even if he's drained and feels like **** throughout the buildup, he'll still continue to save face for the media and say he's fine. Similar to Dawson's situation leading up to Ward. John Scully said himself Chad was not fine, he was drained. But that's something you just tell the media.

Comparing 7 pounds to 2 is a big difference. I know 2 pounds is a lot for those who compete in sports with a weight division, but anyways thanks for your opinion, but I'm looking for an answer to my question.

I know Benny Leonard did, and the guy actually came in OVERWEIGHT and he still defended his title. Leonard said something like, meh its only a few pounds.

Sugar Ray Leonard forced Donny Lalonde to come into their fight at 168 with his 175 lb title on the line.

That was when the 168lb division was first created and Leonard forced the catchweight so that he could win both titles on the same night and call himself the first man to win titles in 5 divisions.

Leonard vacated the 175 lb title without ever defending it.

Shameful very shameful, and u call urself the best eva. Say u fight ur opponents at their best. Talks about never draining his opponents, then goes and do it and his fans all of a sudden is now ok with this. Shameful.

I've never seen a fighter who fought twice at the weight class, won some titles and said he likes to fight the fighters when their full strength and healthy ask for a catch weight...:lmao2:
