oscar looked pretty gnarly / thin, but weigh in steams weren't up to par back then IIRC.

in pics he looked drained, but i'm not going to act like i thought it would matter. i though de la hoya was going to beat pacquiao up, just like everybody else.

oscar's issue, of course, was that he couldn't put the weight back on for the fight. alvarez may very well look like a monster tonight. we shall see.

cotto had him on the ropes a bit, but he's got a great jab and he still moves well. alvarez is markedly slower of foot and even pace than 154 lb cotto. i think mayweather will have his feet mostly set, and that he will do most of his boxing from just over arm's length away from canelo. i think they'll box in the center of the ring, and alvarez will have issues winning the rounds.

People are gonna be shocked at how much stronger Floyd is than Canelo. I really don't see how Canelo wins (outside of a punchers chance) as Floyd is better than him in every category.

Fight is on the inside....Floyd is more skilled, is stronger and will dominate him
Floyd is on the outside.....Floyd has better timing, better at countering, is quicker and has better feet.

2nd fight I believe, unless he fought on there before Guerrero and I don't remember it. And isn't JMW 10 oz gloves unless both guys agree to a lower weight? I remember Mayweather and Cotto almost agreed on 8 oz for Floyd and 10 oz for Cotto, but both eventually wore 10 oz gloves.
