Mayweather is streets ahead of every boxer on the planet. I think he will win by decision.

I thought this was the fight people wanted to see? I see alot of "canelo has no chance" post on this board. So when floyd picked guerrero everyone here was whinning about a one sided fight in floyd/canelo? Haters always amaze me

        Why the 5th of May?

I got Mayweather by UD. Canelo tends to slow down in the fight and I see Mays movement and speed giving him a lot of problems. It is going to be a good fight though and will sale a lot of PPVs.

So even at the expense of being criticized wasnt enough to stop Floyd from requesting it, the zero overides everything.
Another way to look at this would be that this was really the only issue that Floyd had left to exert any leverage on.

Forbes just reported that the Guerrero fight lost close to 12 million. It may not seem much but Sho sports is really a peon in the CBS organization. Im sure Espinosa didnt want to answer for that loss without the confirmation of the Canelo fight. Seems obvious that Floyd was forced into the fight, and CW was his only chess piece.

Mayweather gets sexual kicks out of treating his fans like dirt. He knows that they'll defend him at every single opportunity, regardless of what he says and does, and knows that they're struggling at this moment to defend a position that he and his fans have spent the better part of four years decrying - and that gives him even greater pleasure.

The guy thrives on making himself and his fanbase look like morons. He's the sort of guy who I can see one day failing a drug test for the sole purpose of digging an even greater hole for his followers to climb out of.

The fight stands or falls on its on merits, not on what was said before the fight. The fight is at 152, you can take that or criticize that but to say you will give him even less credit for the win because of something he said is ludicrous. You weigh up the value of the fight on the fight itself. It's like saying you will give someone less credit for a fight because he said he was Atheist and would never pray to a God and then converted to Christianity before the fight. It has no relevance to the fight itself. Judge it based on the fight. If you don't like the catch weight that is fair criticism but to give less credit because he went against his own word is crazy.
you're not dealing with someone who is rational so stop trying. he's just happy he can crap on floyd and his fans who criticized manny for the CW.

Pacquaio/rOACH ALWAYS wants catch-weights and re-hydration clauses. PACMAN fans have NOOOOO problem with that.

Mayweather asks for 2 pounds and Canelo camp agrees and now people are acting like this is the biggest scandal in BOXING history.

How about Canelo weighing 170+ on fight night for a fight that's supposed be at 154. Now that's a crime.

Canelo should be fighting a Middleweight if you ask me.

                    Let it go people!

Now Mayweather forcing a Re-hydration Clause on Canelo would an issue with me. But guess what he did not, But you know who does PACMAN and Roach.

Canelo will not look like a corpse on fight night like DeLahoya, Cotto and Magarito did when they fought PACMAN.

Canelo will be fine and he will lose cause he just too young and inexperienced for Mayweather at this time.

Floyd had a catchweight before Manny ever did. Lets just start there.
