As much as i'd hate to see Mayweather lose, I agree.

      • See Mayweathered is favored by 72% of the forum to win. This is supposed to be his biggest challenge. If you look at the greats of the past, they got in the ring with fighters that they were the underdog and still won. Mayweather always fights guys that he is the overwelming favorite to beat.

well that tells you just how great Floyd is - apart from maybe GGG at LMW, there is no fighter who poses a bigger threat to Floyd than Canelo. Everyone was calling Floyd a duck until he signed to fight Canelo, but now they're saying Canelo's a cherrypick..??

Vegas has the odds at 2-1 which closer at what odds were for a proposed Manny fight was at which was 3-1 so the bookies see it as a close fight.

Yea, but, that really can't be used as a knock against Floyd. No matter who Floyd fights at this point, he will be the favorite. It really is a testament to just how great Floyd is. Canelo is the most dangerous fight he can take at this point, and he's doing it. Kudos to him.

                • Canelo Could Only Get To 151.8 Two Years Ago!

What makes people think he won't struggle now to make 152. He has grown since then. Floyd knew exactly what he was doing. It's a shame he would fight Cotto at 154 but not Canelo. How can people seriously defend that.

Canelo should weigh in at 154 and take the penalty. Then let Floyd decide if he will man up and win the belt respectably.

                    • So you've read his weight in the Matthew Hatton fight in 2011 as 151 and a half on boxrec, and now come to the conclusion that's the absolute lowest he could go?

His fight before that he was 149 and a half.
