Of course Floyd's gonna win. He hasn't taken a fight he could have lost on any scale since Zab Judah. Floyd's about the money (which this fight will generate a lot of) and protecting/preserving his "perceived" reputation....and that "0". He knows the kid's not ready and too mechanical. If Floyd thought for one second Canelo stood a chance of beating him, he wouldn't have taken the fight.......if you need an example of this M.O., then I'll presume you haven't been following Floyd's "non-decisions" for the last ten years.

I respect Floyd, I really do; but he's been a let-down to me personally since he moved north of 135. Canelo, I love. Great kit, lots of potential, and I can't blame him for taking a shot at the current "man" and gaining the largest purse in his career. But he's not gonnna win.

I mean, hell, I could be wrong. He could catch Floyd with one of those choice telegraphed left hooks...or change his style completely and fight like Julio Caesar Chavez Sr and bury his face in Floyd's chest and beat his body to a pulp.....which, btw, is the only way to beat him; but, I don't think so.

I'm gonna bank on "Money" knowing his business and taking another ridiculous sum of mone to the bank....or, just pocketing the cash.

Floyd by relatively easy......minus 3 or 4 rounds to appease the Canelo following in the crowd.....decision. ....(probably majority.....just to feed the fuel for a rematch and more money. )

Why is there some many noobs that don't know that most fighters drain 10+ lbs of water weight before weigh in all the time? I'm guessing they're Pacquiao fans because he seems to have the most ****** fans.

All you have to do is check out Canelo's last fight and know where he is coming from. Floyd does NOT need to be concerned with what he eats nor his weight. He just needs to concentrate on preparing himself well for the fight.

Canelo will be depriving himself of food and fluids just to make weight. It can affect both training and fight night. Canelo in his last fight showed stamina issues with a low work-rate. Going down to 154 then back up to 172 can do that to you. Now it will take more effort to make it below 152.

I don't think the weight will be a huge problem, will hamper him but he wouldn't have agreed to it if he didn't think he could make it surely?

Everyone's picking Floyd apart for this catchweight, which realistically is fair enough since he called Manny out for doing it, but realistically Canelo should be fighting Martinez and GGG?

Floyd and Canelo are the same height, I'm convinced Canelo is coming into rings at 170+ because he chooses to, Garcia is also the same height as them and cuts to 140 (walks around at 170), I'm not comparing Garcia's frame to Canelo's but I do think the 152 limit is fair (although it will affect Canelo I do not disagree), but realistically it should have been at 154. (just so the title is on the line to make things even more interesting) :P

Should have just fought at 154 and he'd be golden.....instead: "He had to sucker punch Ortiz, fought an old Mosley, shot Cotto, bum Guerrero, and a weight drained Canelo".....get ready for it.

Floyd's problem is he never fights guys when fans want him to fight them. He waits years later and then fights them.

He gives his haters ammunition, and then complains when they shoot it at him. lol

Honestly the Canelo fight would've been a huge FU to his haters. Except he threw in a ****ing catchweight clause, to screw himself over yet again.

Being that I'm a Michigan native, I've come to follow Floyd for a long while, also, he's had his own category on various Michigan news sites

They cover Floyd all the time and Floyd gives them more exclusive access than things than Fighthype, lol. That is a nice gallery of pics I posted. Also, a few days ago on that website, he said that he respects Canelo.

why didn't you do this level of analysis when manny fought cotto at 145?

Canelo manger Reynoso is the reason for the catchweight. When he said we will not fight under 154 that made Floyd and Haymons ego want to flex and 24 hrs later they was agreeing to fighting at 152. I think if they wasn't so voicetrous about what they wasn't going to do the fight probably would have been at 154.
