People love to lie about that happening to Oscar. Just like they claim a lot that the fight was at a 145 catchweight, or that Pac forced Oscar down.

Outside of the Oscar fight where Oscar totaled himself by trying to drop down 147 what other fight is there any proof of the "no re-hydration clause". I can't think of any other fight where they announced the fight night weight where Pacquaio's opponent came in at the weigh in weight. I'd be willing to gamble the supposed "clause" is just crap made up by Floyd fans to diminish PacMan's career.

Go back and watch the fight. HBO did a fight day weigh in. Oscar weighed 147 and Manny weighed 148.

What it proves is Manny, the smaller guy, weighed more than Oscar. And your gonna sit there and say there wasnt a no rehydration clause.

So because Oscar weighed 147 on fight night that is your proof that there was a no rehydration clause?


Again show me the CONTRACT proof that there was a rehydration clause stating that Pacquiao's opponent cannot rehydrate past the 147 pound limit instead of making **** up when you saw Oscar didn't rehydrate properly and weighed at 147.

Instead of people complaining about the two pound catch weight, they should be complaining about the size at advantage Canelo will have on fight night. People compare mayweather "draining" Canelo, to Manny draining Cotto. Cotto was drained because he couldn't rehydrate, that was a stipulation in the contract. Canelo is allowed to gain his weight back so he won't be drained.

Cotto's non-rehydration is a fairly common lie that people on NSB tell all the time. Pac draining Cotto from 154 to 147 is a new one though, that's a Skip Bayless or Stephen A. Smith level non-truth.
