    GB/Matchmakers know something we don't?

Just seems like GB would be allowing Canelo to take the fight one or two fights too early. The highest profile fighters in recent history have made their name off of fighting the right fighters at the right time. This doesn't seem the case unless GB and their matchmakers feel truly comfortable on his chances, even with the cw. It just seems that on paper this fight is not winnable for Nelo given floyds recent performance. GB clearly riding on the hopes that Canelo can be their next ppv attraction did seem real anxious to get this fight done asap.

Best case scenario for Canelo is he loses 7-5 in a competitive but UD for Mayweather.

If Canelo isn't weight drained, Mayweather is in for slaughtering

The fight will probably be somewhat competitive and Canelo won't look bad and therefore won't lose his marketability. That's what they're probably hoping for.

So does GBP rush their closest thing to the next cash cow hoping for only a respectable performance or do they really believe that now is the right time?

I think they feel like Floyd is too small to ruin Canelo. Its not like Tito-Vargas and Floyd is not a power puncher anyways. They thiink even if he loses, he can get huge exposure while still being able to have a huge fight with Cotto afterwards

GBP follows the same recipe as Oscar did.

Just fight everyone. If you're exciting and charismatic the fans will come.
Being undefeated to draw crowds is this new idea from the Mayweather/Pac era. It's dumb.
