Neither was Mayweather Guerrero. At least this fight is a much better match up.

They had to move it, no one is going to pay to see a fading (devastatingly KO'd) Manny over Floyd at this point. The date is nothing more than an obvious admission by Arum to this reality. Mayweather has lasted through the Pacquiao era and he's chasing the young lions now into another.

            Bradley was in a war.

            Marquez beat a top 5 P4P.

Both have skills, PPV worthy for me.

I think choosing Canelo was a brilliant masterstroke by Mayweather, in terms of promotion and getting Arum to switch the date. Arum can no longer use slight of hand and state propaganda to prop up his fighter. Simple economics hold sway in this situation, so there's not much Arum or the legions of scrotum sucking Pacquiao zombies can do but rage about catch-weights and hypocrisy.

When this fight was first touted, Arum distinctly said that he would only move the Bradley-Marquez fight to October if the pairing was Mayweather-Alvarez. He said that for Mayweather against anyone else, he would not move it.

So all your crap about "fading" Pacquiao and Arum "seeing reality" is just that-crap. It's business decision, which increases the purses of both fighters as well as the promoter who hosts it.

brad vs jmm was made much earlier.....

it may appear wise to move up the date to give way to the pbf canelo tussle....

but one can look at it much differently......

jmm vs brad is easily a pushover match.....

it may be a great fight....but.....but....

push them over to give way to the....the.....he he he

typical pacquiao hater. The news is about moving the "Bradley vs Marquez" fight yet this guy wants to connect this to pacqiuao. This is common for those stuck in hate mode. Only in a pacquiao haters minde does Bradley vs Marquez moving dates = nobody wants to see pacquiao anymore. Typical pacquiao hater, logic bounces right off of them.

Please, Arum's full of it, winners sell better than losers plain and simple.
