I think what gets people complaining is that there always seems to be some kind of catch to what he does. That said, I just hope it's a good scrap.

I was actually shocked by the whole catch weight thing because its not ideal for Floyd. But I understand it. This fight buys time to let the WW division shape up. And let some of those other contenders make more noise.

pretty much hit the nail on the head right there. he gives us the fight that people want but puts an asterisk in there.

i don't think that canelo is a cherry pick. he's a legit champ and most logical opponent so floyd deserves credit for making the fight, however, he deserves all the backlash for imposing a catch weight on it, especially after how he *****ed about catch weights before.

floyd will win running away. i think alvarez will make it interesting early only to gas out in the second half from missing wildly, chasing floyd and also the weight cut. UD floyd.

As a Canelo fan I feel that he should know that if the weight will affect him that much not take the fight. He could've built his legacy by beating someone like Cotto and Martinez instead. Floyd would've taken all the heat if he never agreed to a catch weight anyways.
