Of course he is going to say he is cool with it, he knew that Floyd would never fight him at the 154 limit, and knew that he'd be missing his biggest fight if he refused it. I'm betting it was either take the disadvantage or never fight, and seeing how Mayweather avoided Pacquaio he didn't want the same happening.

You think Canelo would publicly come out and say the 2 pounds will hurt him? No, because he's a proud fighter and doesn't want his fans to think there hero will be weight drained, when he obviously will. If a fighter says they will be weight drained = less PPV sales because it's seen as less competitive.

So essentially Floyd is now the hypocritical catchweight king who wants to face Canelo at an obvious disadvantage. If you don't see this, you're being blind to your idol and ignoring his idiocy.

Official catch weight king! Now all of a sudden it's ok hahah!! I always said I have no problem with catch weight fights if one guy is just too big and if the catch weight is at a reasonable but these so called boxing experts didn't want no part of it and now their hero is taking part in a catch weight match and now it's ok.
