Well if its so tough for Canelo to make 152, he shouldn't take the fight, period. He doesn't need us as fans to make excuses for him and lets remember, 152 is still heavier than Floyd has ever weighed in at. Canelo doesn't have to take the fight but since he did, lets just sit back and enjoy it. No need to try and taint what will be a great fight.2 pounds will not determine the fight.

fact: mayweather has been quoted as making a big deal about pacquiao bringing Cotto down to 145 from 147.

Good move on mayweathers part, age clearly hasnt effected him yet and didnt take any punishment from the guerrero fight. He knows fighting canelo at his physical best is the smartest thing. No point putting it off with the off chance of him getting old in the future.
