Name the fights where you were utterly shocked at the outcome.

It was shocking to a lot of people who saw Serg Martinez ko P Williams. I was not shocked. In fact what is so funny about that fight is that I picked P Willy to beat Martinez the first time out, and I picked Serg to ko Williams in the rematch. I just had a feeling.

Same with Jones-Tarver II. I had a feeling Jones would be ko'd and BOOM...the ko happened.

What I want to know from you guys is which fight outcomes literally shocked the hell out of you. Doesn't have to be your favorite fighter either.

Here are a few of my shockers to begin with:

    Molinares- Starling.
    Curry-McCallum
    Corrales-Castillo I
    Harris-Jefferson
    Chavez-Taylor(Steele)
    Judah-Tszyu(Nady)
    Brown-Pettway
    Toney-Nunn
    Nunn-Kalambay
    Tate-Weaver
    Foreman-Moorer

I can name a lot more, but you get the gist of things.

    Marquez - Pacquiao IIII

Marquez winning didn't surprise me. But the manner left me gobsmacked. Pacquiao getting banjoed with one shot and being out cold for a couple of minutes. Tremendous.

Of recent years it has to be Mosley v Margarito.

Hatton v Pacquaio too, just for the sheer brutality and ease that Pacquaio beat him with.

Donaire vs Rigondeaux - I was shocked by how Rigo outboxed Donaire so badly.
Pac vs JMM IV - not as shocking, both had been in 3 wars prior and one of them was bound to get KO'ed.
Peterson vs Matthysse - I didn't think Peterson would get KO'ed so early, I thought it was going to be more like the Ortiz fight where he showed some resilient.

Hold on let me get a list of 50s fights that I never saw and find out if it was an upset or not. That way I can look like a real boxing historian.

On a real note, Pacquiao vs Marquez 4 wasn't shocking. Anyone who believed Marquez when he said he was going for the knockout saw that one coming.

Funeka-Guzman I. I was utterly shocked at the judging and the outcome. JMM's KO of Manny was shocking. Both the KD and then the subsequent KO. And Douglas-Tyson.

Did you honestly think that Pacquiao would be lying unconscious in a proverbial pool of his own piss though?
