I'm someway in the middle with this... I AGREE that Hatton should have been docked a point, whatever the circumstances. Maybe even two for such an intentional foul. But there was more than ONE incident where Zoo hit him below the belt.

HATE - Naz getting his head smashed against the post. Horrible, and I don't like seeing ANY boxer getting humiliated like that.

LOVE - Carlos Maussa. The guy's an absolute diva. He just doesn't give a ****.

If you cheered for that, you really must be abnormal. Biting someone is inhumane. And mike didn't bite hime bc of the headbutts, he bit the ear because he was frustrated with the way the fight was going.

It's not like Hatton was innocent and playing by the rules in there either. He was actually the first to do something dirty. Remember that first round intentional punch to the back of Tszyu's head.

I remember way back when Ali fought Chuck Wepener(I think it was him, if it wasnt let me know) and Wepner continously hit Ali in the back of the head, eventually Ali got really pissed and started doing it back and u could literally hear the sound over the crown "POP, "POP, "POP"! That and the Barrera wrestling move on Naz were the dirty moves that i cheered.

I'd put that down to nerves as while I'd never (and wasn't) trying to say that Hatton is a saint, he's not the sort of guy to hit someone in the back of the head. I think it was just the occasion that got to him.

On the subject, I've just got an AVI of Judah-Baldomir... there's a cracking moment in the seventh after the first leg dance where the referee calls "break!" and Baldy still gives him a right after the call, right on the clock.

I remember for a time Ali was boxing single handedly, with his other hand on the back of his head. Class act.

Hell yeah. i cheered when Barrera smashed Naseem Hamed's head into the top corner post. That was classic and well worth it!

You could perhaps make that argument but when the ref warned him all he did was shrug his shoulders like so what. I also disagree that he isn't the sort of guy to hit behind the head. I'm a Hatton fan and having seen him fight quite a few times I can safely say that Hatton gets more than a bit rough in the ring. He's not as dirty a fighter as most say after watching the Tszyu fight but he does get rough.
