Not heard of this company before, did Warren set it up so that the next time he doesn't want to pay a fighter he can just allow it to go out of business and keep the profits for himself?

Something like that Clegg. Actually I thought it was his old company that he wound up so he didn't have to pay Calzaghe, but maybe I'm wrong.

All these fighters are jumping because they want to be on Sky. Sky giving a deal to only one promoter was disgraceful imo. Now matchroom is pretty much a monopoly and its not because of their ability to promote. Lets be honest the tv network does the real "promotion".

People cried for a UFC type company in boxing. Why not?

Frank talks about Hearn fighters losing, but at least they are getting title shots etc...

Eddie is young, promotes hard, does loads of videos and interviews and is making huge fights.

Frank Warren has done well with Boxnation, he gets my 10 quid a month even if I don't watch it that much.

However as a promoter, he is doing a very poor job. Fighters want some protection, but not to a point that there will be one opportunity shot in a career at the end.

I dont think it has anything to do with Kevin Mitchell wanting to be on sky, more that the only boxers under Frank Warren that fight on a regular basis are billy joe saunders and frank buglioni.
I know some of this is kevin mitchell's fault for his inactivity, but if FW shows are getting cancelled all the time then he's never gonna get a chance to fight.
By joining matchroom its realistic that he will fight at least twice this year, probably more likely to be 3 times while he gets rid of a lot of ring rust and then get back into the world title mix in early 2014 hopefully.
