Top Russian light heavyweight prospect Artur Beterbiev has a new opponent for his pro debut on June 8th at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada. The main event will feature a light heavyweight battle between WBC champion Chad Dawson and Adonis Stevenson. Beterbiev won a gold medal at the 2006 Euro championships and at the 2009 Milano World championships. He will face Christian Cruz (12-14-1, 10KOs) on the card. He was orginally going to make his pro debut last Saturday night, at the same venue, but the card fell apart when Lucian Bute withdrew from his fight with Jean Pascal with an injury.
