LOL @ people saying Garcia "destroyed" Siri, not how I remember it at all. I remember the guy with the broken nose since the 2nd round still willing to fight over the guy with the freshly broken nose who quit right away. normally I wouldn't bash a fighter for this because this is a gladiator's sport but when Victor Ortiz got his jaw broken Mikey Garcia was talking **** about how guys like Abraham fought with broken jaws before and that he wouldn't stop but when his fight with siri got rougher than it looked like he was used to and that nose broke he quit, he went right along with what his brother was saying he allowed his brother to take him out of the fight and save him because Siri was coming on HARD

I don't respect this type of 2 face actions from anyone, if you want the respect a fighter deserves you give the respect a fighter deserves and that broken jaw Ortiz suffered looked painful IMO and Garcia bashed him for quitting meanwhile he quits for a injury not as severe?

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. But I will say this, that headbutt delivered by Salido was 100% intentional. I think this is ONE of the reasons why Roberto and Miguel were so quick to pull the plug on the fight.

Only if Salido felt the same way you do, Mikey wouldn't be fighting JuanMa next.

I see Mikey Garcia winning this fight by a TKO in the 8th round, he's simply too young and stronger than the withered Lopez....Salido beat this guy twice and look at what Mikey Garcia did to Salido....knocked him out !!

This is Boxing man, that's how it goes. did everybody who Hopkins, Toney, Holyfield, Hagler fouled with those head butt's quit? it is an old school tactic and the way that fight was going was getting uglier by the second. he had a broken nose just like his opponent except his opponent did what Mikey said Victor Ortiz should have done and that's fight on and Garcia didn't he settled for the easy way out and lackluster boo filled victory and a very crappy way to win his first major title

sorry for the book and all but Salido is just making his move up to chase what he can there, also my reason for going at Mikey like that is that he showed a two face side to himself, it's okay to quit when you do it? I just don't respect that **** talking when if the tables are turned you going to quit for a clearly lesser injury. you just didn't want to take any more of that roughness, you knew you were up on the cards and you bowed your head while your brother saved you, which is in turn worse than what Ortiz did because at least he went out alone no one stepped in for him
