Yes he attempted something ******, got caught and paid a price for it. There are no angels in this sport, everyone is looking for an edge. You name your favorite fighters right now and I guarantee you they have skeletons in their closet. It is what it is.

I lost respect for Margarito after his scandal, but I also know that before that point, I was a huge fan. He was as tough as nails and always came to fight. Why did he decide to try cheating? I have no idea. Maybe he knew he was losing his edge and on the down slide. It would be easy for me to hate on him but hate takes effort and is draining. Instead, I will remember him as a fighter pre-scandal, enjoy them and wish him the best in his life after boxing.

If they get caught and then pay their dues, I will give them another chance as long as their perceived victims also did so. Cotto fought him again and gave him another chance. If Cotto was willing to cross that line and get in the ring with him again, regardless of his intentions, then I will do so also. I remember when Cotto said Antonio never deserved another payday from him, but he shook it off and like a warrior, wanted to exact some revenge. Life is short and people make mistakes.

        no doubt.

What he did againest Cotto I where he was losing rounds but still was coming on and eventually turned the tide is what i'd called a warrior and shtload of heart.

That yeah no doubt and againest Clottey too when he was getting that ass tapped in the beginning.

But it's ****** where you sit there and get smacked all night for what.. that's what you guys think is a warrior? lol, nah man. and ya praise him for being a living legend for that. lol

Marg came he conquered and left. Wish we had more fighters that were like him. One who people duck. One who takes less money to fight others instead of him. ones who quit in the ring and so on

Margarito was willing to be this generation's Arturo Gatti (with better skills and wins), you should be thanking him instead of spreading this blasphemy.

Mexican warrior, die in the ring? For what? For a career to end short, lol.

You guys confuse his ******ity for warriorness.

You know what is warriorness? Yes the guy will probably stay there no matter how hard you beat him but in the Pacquiao fight he was no where competitive. Why continue fighting? He's a warrior, LOL? His corner is idiotic as well. We get the guys has balls of steel but letting him go out there to get pummeled round after round where he's literally a punching bag for Pacquiao. Not even in the last 2-3 rounds he even came close to be considered competitive rounds againest Pacquiao. Why keep him in there? And for his own dumb pride and his ****** corner he was forced to retire and probably have the second fight of Cotto dramatically changed cause of his eye.

Now the guy can't even fight cause of his eye and for what? To be a warrior one night? When he could easily been fighting today and not even be considered a quitter or coward seeing as he literally had no chance againest Pacquiao that day? **** we could have been seeing a Cotto trilogy or fights with Lara, Canelo, Angulo Kirkland etc and he'd still making decent buck.

So flame me all you want especially these Margarito **** but your boy and his team fcked him over for "pride" and die in the ring attitude. It was ******. No matter how you try to spin it as a "warrior" A warrior takes punishment but dishes it back and is at least competitive. A idiot is a punching bag taking punishment and losing rounds while the other guy is on cruise control and call it "i'll die in the ring" when he was doing **** todo so.
