    Last weekend.

No, but it is the way to get paid and become an international star.

The likes of Ward and Rigondeaux face the same uphill struggle Mayweather did to get recognition because their fights don't appeal to the casual fan.

I accept Ward is better, I don't want to see a rematch.

Now let's see what the most talented fighter in the Univers (i.e. Ward) did back at home:

The Ward vs Dawson fight? The event sold 7,611 tickets at Oracle Arena, for a gate of $706,469.
      What were the Froch-Ward numbers?

You found Froch-Ward boring because you don't appreciate intelligent boxing. Go watch that "Smash" whatever **** Lennox was talking about. Stop talking about pure boxers. Your opinion isn't warranted.

Wow that's sad... PS the number for Ward's fight is closer to 6k, as more than 1k were comped.

Let me point out the flip flop aka hypocrisy in you fans. You want to talk about fanbase, ppv numbers, who is the draw, lmao! Many of you were sick that Floyd's fans used this in any argument when it came to potential foes, yet these same fans are now criticizing Froch's post fight words, and now you buy into this Froch is the draw stuff, lmmfao!

Froch has options according to you, but none of them will gain him any respect until he rematches Ward not matter where the fight is at.
Yes, I suppose you believe Bute also was responsible for the crowd he brought to England when he fought Froch, and not Froch fan friendly style, and ability to build up a fight.

Froch threw nothing out there. It's been Ward who is been saying he doesn't need to go to the UK to fight Ward. It's been his trainer who has been talking **** about Froch, and its the Ward fans like you who say Ward doesn't need to fight Froch in the UK. Again if he wants the money he will. Froch has every right and reason to want a rematch to be in his home turf. He's already been to Wards, where he can't put any butts in seats.

Froch stunk the place out when he beat AA. Was it a fan friendly exciting war - no. AA was dangerous, Froch used smart tactics. The reality is Froch's defence is poor and therefore he often gets tagged with big shots and it often turns into an exciting match up due to his technical deficiencies.

For all Froch's words - deep down he stick the place out with a victory against Ward if it meant he could reverse the decision. Also, some mind games from Froch here if thy fight again to try to entice Ward into more of a battle.

Ward is never going to just give you a 'free shot' as Mayweather says, 'any fool can get hit, that isn't hard'.

Two of the biggest mainstream stars in boxing today are Floyd Mayweather and Benard Hopkins. And the two things they have in common are sustained winning, and a "boring" fighting style. This tells me that if a guy wins at a high level for long enough, stardom will come.
