after chavez jr lost to martinez, this was the big fight i'd want to see chavez work his way up to. it would have been great if chavez could have fought pavlik and maybe abraham (if pavlik hadn't retired and abraham hadn't lost his title). if he'd be able to beat both guys, a froch showdown would have been huge imo. that said, this fight can still be very big. i think chavez needs a win over a good 168 lber first though. beating vera before facing froch won't make it interesting imo.

either way, i think froch beats him. still a good fight to have. let's see how chavez does with guys a bit more his size.
