Froch clearly won the fight, Kessler landed perhaps some of the cleaner, eye-catching shots but Froch was much busier and landed much more consistently through the fight. Can't believe Hunter had it a draw, I suspect he was fooled by the biased HBO commentators who seemed to be siding with Kessler.

Jermain Taylor too. Froch has heavy-hands but is not a KO-artist.

I think we can safely confirm that Froch has picked up the last remains of Ricky Hatton's fanbase. Never came anymore delusional than that lot.
      Fack off.

On another note, Adalaide Byrd's score was a disgrace. And this is the same judge that has at times laughed at other judges for their poor scoring!
Adalaide Byrd is a woman judge (from Nevada) who scored in pretty big fights lately -- i.e. Danny Garcia - Zab Judah (116-111), Manny Pacquiao - Juan Manuel Marquez (she had Manny in front with 47-46), Austin Trout - Miguel Cotto (119-109), Sergio Gabriel Martinez-Julio Cesar Chavez Jr (118-109), Danny Garcia-Amir Khan etc...
She looks like she's picking the winner all the way...

I know who she is. As I said, her score was a disgrace, and she's someone who's laughed at other judges for their poor scoring.

Edit; sorry, not sure if you're implying she got those scores right (I don't necessarily disagree with them), or if she favours the pre-fight 'winner' too much. If it's the latter, I agree and it showed most evidently in the Froch fight. If it's the former, then my above comment.

i had Froch winning by 2 rounds -Froch won the first 3 rouds and Kessler had to work very hard to get bck in by round 7 it was even and I think that took alot out of Kessler towards the end - if there is a third fight I think Kessler would not let it get away so easy so early on and his game plan had to change - it would be nice if the third ended in a draw I think that would be justified. - I think Froch -Kessler 3 would be justified.

I was jumping out of my seat when Kessler landed that straight right hand while taking a step back. I can't remember seeing Froch hurt like that before since Taylor zapped him twice in the 3rd round.

I wish he used his uppercut more. Froch was open for it most of the time.

Yeah, I think you're spot on in that case. She does have the Abril score in her favour, but otherwise it seems she's swayed easily for who's supposed to win.

Don't know about a draw, but I had it a one point win for Froch. Hunter is right though, Kessler was a he!!uva lot more accurate. Too bad he wasn't just a little busier. But he has nothing to be ashamed of. Part III in Denmark would tell alot. As for Froch, he's all pumped up now, but I'd imagine when he's alone, he doesn't think he'd beat Ward. He simply doesn't have the tools to beat a highly defensive boxer.
