    rating george groves

i thought he put on the stand out performance of the night, really looks slick and sharp and heavy handed. was impressed in his fight before that aswell, i think his trained by david hayes trainer as he seems to move exactly like him but a bit better. i would like to see him fight degale again, then if he wins that. a fight in america? to be honest i like degale aswell though, there both close to world level, just need to step up soon.

Trained by Adam Booth who is a damn good trainer! I think Groves style would give Froch some serious problems because of his quickness and slickness

I agree, although I would never ever write off Carl Froch, Groves' style is not suited for him.

Doubt they will fight. Froch will fight one or more times against either Kessler, Ward or Hopkins and then retire.

Id like to see Froch go after Ward again and if he could somehow pull that off then give Groves a shot before retiring, its what we wanted Calzaghe to do against him after all. It must be noted though boxing can be about levels and Froch has been operating at a far far higher level than Ol Georgie Boy

George is an improved fighter, i like em. Quality performance and fantastic finish last night. Not really interested in a Chunky rematch, first fight wasn't great and there has been no real call for it. I like De Gale too btw, he also looked mustard last time out.

let's see how he looks against a world level opponent who actually throws back.

Everything is beginning to come together sweetly for George and now that he is a little bit more mature he's a real threat to anyone in the division.

Nothing came out of the Kessler camp about how his sparring went with Groves but my guess is that George was a proper problem.

He hits hard, accurately and fast, does not waste shots and energy, and is turning into a very good ring general.

My gut instinct is that he won't fight Froch just yet but they've fancied Stieglitz for a while now (the fight was mooted about 12 months ago) and this could be a late summer fight in the UK or Germany.

Booth likes taking a calculated risk here and there; so they might well force the issue and go to Germany and force Stieglitz to front up.

He's very good but unfortunatly when he gets hit on the chin he will be knocked out.
