Froch vs JCC Jr would be an epic fight, Froch got good exposure on HBO last night, they could have it anywhere and you know it'd be all action.

joke chavez jr. and carl froch shouldnt be in the same sentence.

For once I agree w/u, Earl. I think this would be a great fight. Jr. is big and strong and can crack and has nuts. Froch's speed/footwork, while good at 168, might be less befuddling to Jr coming off the Serge lesson.

While Froch is clearly the favourite, I think Chavez Jr. gives a good account of himself and would not be completely shocked at some kind of upset. What if the beard is indeed hereditary along w/the pop and carries up one division from the one that he is obviously having difficulty making?

Agreed, Although I believe Jr would probably refuse to train and build cardio at a higher weight division believing that he just has to show up, Froch I believe would give into an occational brawl in this one and win rounds with his feet.

This should happen in the UK also, Brits would apreciate Chavez style

Chavez Jr. would need to have a couple of good 168 tune-ups to stand any chance. As talented as Sergio Martinez is, he gets off-balance very easily and can be knocked down. JCCjr was almost able to capitalize on that, but against Froch the size + strength advantage isn't there, and he's up against an iron-chin. Will be a very tough ask for him to beat either Ward or Froch with his comparably limited skillset
