      Not even remotely.

You can find those threads and you'll see I picked Ward to win at least 10 rounds. He's simply a better fighter. Unlike Mayweather or Rigondeaux though, he's not entertaining.

You were so pissed. Whether Ward is exciting or not, just don't lie to us and say that you won't watch him fight.

Anyway a Froch vs Ward fight on Wembley, London, would not be possible sooner than next summer... (I can't see someone fighting in a British stadium by, let's say, October this year; because is too cold out there)... Next summer, though, Froch will be 36 old, with no decent legs underneath...
On another hand it's clear that Ward would not cross the Pond for less than $5 mln, I suspect...
          ...
The Wembley Stadium is a 90,000-capacity venue -- which can't be sold out for a Froch vs Ward rematch... A Ward fight can't make even the 18,000 gate in the O2 Arena, in my opinion...
Ward is dreaming about getting huge a purse that Hearn would not be interested to pay -- as long as a Ward fight delivers the big time entertainment of the well known boring "old style inside boxing" (tongue in chick)...

Froch, therefore, will not fight Ward for more than a $2 mln purse... Froch has to give Bute a rematch -- because otherwise he will lose big money... Next, Froch could fight grandpa B-Hop (in a "legendary encounter"); Froch could even call Chad Dawson, Adonis Stevenson, a.s.o...

Conclusion: Froch doesn't have too much time left, and he's going to make the most of it...

          An excellent post ^.

Froch is a big draw in the UK, but he couldn't fill Wembley stadium. Even a Kessler fight again wouldn't fill Wembley. He could fill the City Ground (c.30,000); perhaps the Emirates (c.50,000).

IMO, Ward-Froch cannot be on PPV, either. It'd stink, and there'd be complaints from casual boxing fans.

I have no enjoyment in watching clinching followed by the old holding and hitting which Ward is very good at.
Holding and hitting? So you just prefer holding...ward is a rough fighter in the same manner as Bhop. Funny thing is when Robert Guerrero fought a dirty fight with Berto a lot of you praised him and hoped he would do the same with Floyd to beat him. But when it's done to a fighter you like it's boring. Typical

? none of the three are entertaining which is why they don't sell tickets, Mayweather excepted but that isn't based on his "exciting" boxing.

It's difficult to say what kind of gate Froch could generate. 10,000 tickets inside an hour is pretty impressive.

well Froch is correct on 2 occasions...

                  1) he can beat Ward if he stacks the deck (fans, judges, refs) against Ward

                  2) Ward is effective, but boring

I love blaming the lack of desire to fight Ward based on the fact that it would bore fans...........what about the absolute KING of taking the air out of a fight with all the grabbing, hitting and holding? He's an idol in England? Brits forget about Little Ricky already?

If Hatton can fill a stadium and Froch is essentially the new king of the sport in the UK, he can too given he has a much more pleasing style.

Froch wouldn't be bored himself.......he'd be too busy getting his ass beat again. If the $$ is right, he'll fight him again.......and the fight will sell very well in Britain.

Ward and Hopkins are very similar in style........but there are a few subtle things Ward does that makes him a little more entertaining to me. I'll continue to watch any fight he's in........I love watching high IQ fighters operate......

And the fact that Ward has serious class?? You can't say that about other 'boring' fighters.......when Floyd's gone and Ward is on the #1 spot....interest will improve provided his promoter isn't a complete idiot. Let's not forget Floyd didn't get paid until 1-Jones got KTFO, 2-He fought Oscar and created the easily hateable 'MONEY' character........

Maybe everyone would like Ward better if he plays a character?? It seems to have made another 'boring' fighter a wad of cash. Maybe he can get rich wearing the white hat??.........

had Froch winning 7-4-1 -- he won mainly with his jab and activity rate -- getting tired of commentators overstating what we're seeing -- this was not a 'spectacular' fight between 2 'great' fighters -- was a good fight between one guy who is very good but has some obvious holes in his game vs. a guy who was once very good but now is somewhat faded -- Froch has no chance against Ward and he knows it -- and let's stop with the Ward is Boring nonsense -- how has he looked boring lately? -- and if he is boring, it's because like Mayweather, no one can be competitive against him so blame them not him....
