Why is Rigondeaux still underrated?

Is he seriously not in their ratings!? That is criminal, bible of boxing my ass! Or actually it's quite fitting as they are both clearly full of ****!Comment

He has very few fights, only one name, and was dropped in that fight and others. Plus, outside of Mares there aren't many people he can fight to build any kind of legacy. And on top of that he's older, so he won't have much time to do it before his reflexes go. He will always be a "what could have been" kind of fighter.Comment

What does any of that have to do with his P4P ranking? He has very few fights, only one name, and was dropped in that fight and others. And the 'only one name' thing doesn't mean jack shit when a guy gives a performance like Rigo did.Comment

Technically I believe Rigo is more skilled then Ward, though he only beat one name. He can't be in the top 5 p4p, he needs more wins against more names.Comment

the majority of boxing "fans" dont really know anything about the sport and cant recognize or appreciate a good fighter when they see one. its all about wars and knockouts with these ppl and the technical side of boxing it gets overlooked.Comment

I disagree abut Rigo being more skilled than Ward. He's brilliant, but can he fight any fight the way Ward can? Because Ward has fought every way and looked brilliant, inside, outside, rough, finesse, doesn't matter. Maybe Rigo is plenty capable of the same, but I haven't seen it.
He absolutely can be top 5 p4p, because he belongs. The Donaire win was enough to where you can't list the best fighters in the world and not say Rigondeaux is top 3 or 4. Especially with the hectic movement throughout the rest of the list.Comment
