Erm, draining the LHW champ down to a shell of himself was not one of Wards finest moments. infact, his total disregard for trying to make the best fights for the boxing fans shows Wards true colours and if i remember right Ward got severely slated for the win. (rightly so)

You're right, Ward will never fight Froch in the UK. Ward will say he has no problem with going to England to fight Froch but he will never actually do it. Ward is used to that home town advantage and he will keep it that way. He gets away with some illegal tactics in Oakland that he would not get away with in neutral territory. I think Froch has a good chance to win a rematch and he has earned a rematch. How about a fight in Vegas with the referee and two judges from neutral counties if that could be arranged?

Funny Ward is a star??yet all his fights are in America
Froch is a star now because he is a warrior... has proven himself at home and a way..
Do you have to box in usa at all times to be a star???

Ward doesn't want to travel because he doesn't want to get robbed, it's really as simple as that. He doesn't have power like Kessler or Froch.
I GUARANTEE you if his first fight with Froch had taken place in the UK, with Ward dominating him like in the first fight, Froch gets the win. The only way Ward wins in the UK is by KO.

You cant be the diva when you hold none of the cards, Froch can careless about a rematch with ward, like he said in the post fight interview he dont know if he will beat him but he know he can (basically admitting that he has the tools to beat ward but can he put it together and pitch a perfect game is another question) and on the otherhand ward wants froch for the money fight and its the only fight that the networks will probably buy? who else is there at 168 so he can fight and the networks will pay for?
All roads leads to Froch, Ward can either hop on and get ran over.

WHO would expect Ward to travel? He is not that kind of fighter. He doesn't return favours. Forget about him I say. Let him fight in jOakland against blown-up middleweights or drained LHW's.

This seems to me to be an easy decision for Ward.
Providing he doesnt get ridiculous money offers fighting Froch in England; gives him a very winnable fight (lowish risk high reward), adds an extra facet to his already very good resume (fighting away), builds his fanbase and most likely gets himself a career high payday. Its a win win situation for him.
Fact is as good as he is Ward has a mark hanging over him about fighting at home, and i dont care what some of you yanks say fighting in AC doesnt count. Just fight away, i dont see the issue?
