I'm really trying to wrap my head around it. He hasn't ducked anyone, has pretty much cleaned out his division, can't understand the hate. They talk about his clinching, which is an exaggeration but let me say this, why was Bika able to cope with Ward better than Kessler? I think the answer is obvious, Bika wasn't afraid to throw down in the pocket.

At the end of the day we must realize that on this site we are dealing mostly with teenagers and loyal fanatics. Many lack the skill of critically analyzing a boxing match within a purely "sweet science" framework. They invoke all of these crazy intangibles that have nothing to do with who's the better fighter.

If the argument is who's the better fighter. The answer is WARD by a landslide. Better person? Who cares, but even that argument doesn't present any clear choices.

One must ask themselves, what are we arguing here, and why does it matter?

I think Ward is a better boxer than Froch but he will not travel unlike Kessler and Froch.It would be a more competitive fight in the UK as well and he knows it.

Ward looked a bit rattled in a interview on sky after the fight and doesnt seem all that keen to test himself.When asked if he would travel he said he fought a long way from home in Atlantic City!! lol

Froch had a good performance but they can fight in Frochs house and Ward would beat him again. He is way to open and he would be eating left hooks all fight just like the first fight. I did not see any jealousy at all with him calling the fight. I do however, think Ward needs to fight outside of his hometown only because he was able to fight at home when competing in the super six.
